Gujarat Floods - Relief Appeal: Help Banaskantha!

Over 200 people died and lakhs of people have been displaced by the devastating floods in northern Gujarat. More than 50,000 cotton farmers are suffering heavy damage due to the floods. The districts of Banaskantha is the the worst affected and reeling under one of the worst flood of the century.

Our team is in Banaskantha, providing relief and support to the affected people. The need for food, drinking water, shelter and medical assistance is enormous. We request everyone of you to come forward and support our appeal in helping the victims of Gujarat Floods.

All donations to Rapid Response are 50% tax exempt under sec 80G.

Dear Supporters,

Thank you so much for your generous support. With your help we have managed to support around 1500 people including 100 flood affected children in the worst affected Banaskantha district of Gujarat.

The funds are used to distribute,

1000 food packets (Rs 50,000),

150 bed kits (90,000) for 120 flood affected families

100 school kit (30,000) for 100 flood affected children.

(This school in Dhaneera region and It was completed affected by the flood. You can see the devastation in the pictures. As all the students lost their school bag and note books, we have helped 100 girl children with school kit)
