I am Gitanjali Boruah,a housewife and a mother of two children. Like everyone else's we too were leading a happy normal life.  My husband is a retired worker at a tea garden. His pension is only Rs. 3000. Yes, it was difficult for a family of four to manage with that small amount but soon everything was going to be alright because although in a private sector but both my daughter and my son got a job and can now add to our family income. Like every mother I was very happy to see  my children settled. We were also planning to buy a new house for us. But suddenly the thunder broke when we got to know that i am suffering from
End Stage Renal Disease and our doctor advised me to go for either dialysis or kidney transplant.We didnot understand what to do. I started undergoing dialysis. It is almost a year now bt my condition is getting worser day by day. So we decided tobgo for kidney transplant.  My husband is willing to donate one of his kidney and so we are now in Kolkata. But we cant afford such a huge amount of 10 to 14 lacs. My children are working very hard to save my life and hope you all can imagine what a tough time we are going through.  What we need now is your help and support both mentally and financialy so that it can save my life and we can get back to our same happy and normal life.
