    This fundraiser will benefit

    Ananya Rao

    from Bengaluru (Bangalore) Urban, Karnataka

Ananya was a healthy school-going child just three weeks back. The dengue attack has diminished all her dreams and now she lies in bed fighting for life.

It started with a fever on 19th July 2019 complaining about tiredness and fever. She was immediately admitted at Sagar Hospital, Tilaknagar, Bangalore. Platelets kept decreasing rapidly even after administering platelets on a regular basis.

This took a turn and slowly the issue was that her liver started to give up. The problems then started to multiply starting from the Kidneys to the lungs. The Doctors tried their best by giving the best treatment possible. As and when they addressed one issue, some other problem started.

She was moved to Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Marathahalli on 2nd of August 2019 as they have the Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machine and the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation which was the last resort.

Now for the last three days, she is on the ECMO machine which helps her breathe and that in turn will help her recover by giving the needed rest to the lungs. With this treatment, her chances of survival are there. The usage of this machine attracts a huge expense as it requires a special team and support. The doctors would be able to give their opinion only after the next four days which are very crucial for her and her parents who are by her side 24 x 7.

We request all of you to help Ananya get back from this by supporting her in any ways possible. Your contribution will definitely make a big impact on her life. Especially now. Now is the time for all of us to help Ananya to recover and live her dreams.

Note: Attached are bills which are ongoing. The bills are not final. It is an ongoing process until she recovers fully.
