People for Animals (PFA), Thiruvananthapuram (Reg. No: 158/99 | A.W.B.I Recognition No: 23-2 / 2004-05)  is a charitable organization that champions the cause of animals operating from 1996, and running a full-fledged shelter along with a veterinary hospital since 2007. We do an average of around 5-8 rescues on a daily basis, and conduct adoption drives at Sangumugham Beach every Sunday of puppies that we rescue from street. Our shelter runs on contributions from like-minded animal lovers and we do not have any corporate sponsors neither government grants.
Currently, we are needed to raise a sum of 5.75 lakhs in order to build a fencing on top of our existing brick wall as instructed by the Panchayath and Health Department, failing which we will have to shut down operations with immediate effect. We urge all kindhearted souls to donate generously to help us reach this target so that we can keep our shelter alive and thereby continue to help the voiceless.
