In India Female menstruation is still considered a social taboo and most of the girls are unaware of their menstrual cycles. The one who knows about it also not comfortable to talk about it openly.
To deal with this problem, Naad Foundation has taken a small step and started a program called “Healthy Women and Healthy Nation“.
Under this program our medical team gives basic details about menstrual cycle, create awareness about menstrual hygiene and motivate the girls to use sanitary pads. We also provide free sanitary pads to underprivileged girls and students of government and ashram schools.
Currently we are providing sanitary pads two Ashram Schools ( Mukhed & Jopul located in Nashik District) and our goal is to provide sanitary pads for them on every month.
TOTAL BUDGET FOR 1 YEAR:
₹ 25 (one sanitary napkin pack) × 500 girls = ₹ 12500 for one month
For 1 year 12× 12500 = ₹ 150000
For every ₹ 25 you donate, we will purchase one packet of sanitary napkins that contains 7 pads. This pack of sanitary napkin will be distributed to above mentioned schools.
In future we have also planning to provide sanitary pads to more schools. We need your support to continuously run our campaign.
Please donate a small amount and support us for her better & safe future.
