Due to his poor health condition he has stopped going to work and the entire family is dependent on his wife’s income. All the savings they had are going for his treatment and now as he has to undergo a heart transplant. The cost of the surgery is Rs. 2000000 for his treatment and so far the family could arrange only Rs. 500000. Your support can help Dinesh a long way.

21st February 2017
Dear supporters,

We would like to thank you all for the contributions to provide the highest quality of care to Mr Dinesh B R.

Unfortunately, despite the medical team’s best efforts, Dinesh passed away on 1st February 2017. He underwent an orthotopic heart transplant on 4th January, immediately after his admission. However, he suffered from a critical heart complication post the transplant.

Post operation, his ITU stay was prolonged due to an accumulation of fluid in his lungs. He was given oxygen support and nebulisation which improved his breathing problem. A psychology counselling was done thereby helping him to think positively. However, on 23rd, his conditions deteriorated and required half litre oxygen intermittently. He became progressively worse and on 28th he had rigidity of abdomen and low blood pressure.

Despite prolonged efforts, he could not be revived and passed on 1st February at around 8:15 pm.

We once again thank the donors for their support. May his soul rest in peace. We pray the family finds strength in this time of grief.
