If you are resident of Delhi reeling under the smog that is all around us, please take a minute to read this grant story. As a Delhi based not for profit research institution, we feel that the community (of Delhi residents) must reach out to the farmers of Punjab and Haryana and show them that there is a monetary impact of the burning crop waste, on the residents of Delhi.
If we can compensate the poorer farmers (of which there are a large number) for the cost of implementing novel solutions, we have a win-win for both stakeholders. All we ask of you, is to spare a small portion, of the cost that pollution is imposing on you (it could be as little as 100 Rs). If we all contribute that little amount, we can build enough of a corpus to actual make a difference on a large scale

The funds raised will be used to deliver novel solutions, by piloting them in Punab and Haryana, that will convert agricultural waste into more usable forms but without the significant PM2.5 and PM10 impact that Delhi and neighbouring areas witness. This grant is part research, part implementation and entirely for the benefit of Delhi and neighbouring areas.
