Heavy Flooding in CHENNAI, Tamilnadu. Please help us to support the affected families!

Tamilnadu Flood Appeal:


The deep depression over the Bay of Bengal brought heavy and continuous rains and devastated the south Indian state Tamilnadu, India. The state is battling one of the worst floods in the history. Several districts are submerged and leaving a trail of death and destruction. The toll in the devastating floods has reached over 190. More than 2500 villages are badly affected and 60 percent of the capital city Chennai went under water. Thousands of families are still stranded and awaiting help in their homes across the state.


Rapid Response is preparing to provide the much-needed relief supplies to the families affected by the flood. We need your generous contribution. Please support our relief efforts!

Dear Supporters,

Yesterday, we have organised a medical camp in the flood affected Poodampadi village in Cuddalore Distirct.
Poodamabadi is one of the worst affected village. Lot of relief supplies has been given by Rapid Response and other Agencies. However there was no intervention on Health.
Based on the need and the request from local community leaders, we have organised a medical camp with Eight Doctors including an Eye specialist, Seven Nurses and two attenders were present from 10am to 1pm.
Over 350 people have benefited from the camp. Lot of elderly people and children have attended, received free treatment/medicines.
Thanks for helping us to help the flood victims in Cuddalore!


Today, we have organised a medical camp in the flood affected Keerapalayam in Cuddalore. Five Doctors including an Eye specialist, Seven Nurses and two attenders were present from 10am to 1pm. Over 300 people have benefited from the camp. Lot of elderly people have attended and received free medicines. Thanks for making this possible!
