This campaign is to bring back old Chipko movement. In 1980s, people have felt the need to trees and stick to trees to avoid any kind of nature's downfall. Unfortunately, we have lost most of the forest cover now.

Now, the forest cover has started deteriorating at an alarming rate, resulting in hardships for those involved in labour-intensive fodder and firewood collection. This also led to a deterioration in the soil conditions, and erosion in the area. As water sources dried up in the hills, water shortages became widespread. Subsequently, communities gave up raising livestock, which added to the problems of malnutrition of many regions in India. There is a sharp decline in the local agrarian economy lead to a migration of people into the plains in search of jobs, leaving behind several depopulated villages

This movement is to help people living in the villages to provide a way to earn their livelihood and maintaining the environment. This mission is to help villagers grow fruit plants in hilly area where wheat, flour, rice and other items are hard to grow.
