Children and youth living in the back slums in many sectors of the Bhilai township area have been caught in intoxication. There is a lack of education and work in them. PRANAM will provide proper education and training to such needy children and youth to keep them away from intoxication.
This work area will be sector 4, 5, 9 and 10 of Bhilai and back slums area of the Hospital sector, where efforts will be made by PRANAM for educating and training them in the right direction and make them self-dependent.
For this, the volunteers of the PRANAM will work through education and awareness for the betterment of humanity to the youth and children who have come under the influence of intoxication. With no guidance and proper care, such as affected youth and children are going towards crime and intoxication. PRANAM’s efforts will give them employment oriented education, training, health, and morality. With the help of proper teachers & trainers, new books & resources they will be molded towards morality and work. Besides skilled teachers, a psychiatrist, councilor and sports trainer also will be appointed. Medicines to the victims, sports equipment and other means to enable children and youth to move towards self-dependency will be provided.
As per our survey, the number of such affected youth and children living in the back slums of the Bhilai township area is about 400 who need immediate help and education.
Pranam has been able to connect with the mainstream to give a new direction to the society. Many such efforts have already been done by pranam, which has achieved complete success.
