Story

11-year-old Chandan, son of Tilak, has been suffering from a severe form of throat cancer called Carcinoma Nasopharynx.

His parents had no idea that their son was unwell until his mother noticed a lump on his neck. His parents panicked and took him to the hospital in Howrah but they just thought it was a mild fever. After multiple visits with doctors and running multiple tests, Chandan was finally diagnosed.

"we went to so many hospitals trying to understand what happened to my son. Finally, when I learnt that he has cancer I was so heartbroken"

Due to the criticality of Chandan's condition he had to begin his chemotherapy and radiation. Chandan has already completed 13 sessions and needs another 17 sessions of chemotherapy. The total cost of the treatment is around 1.70 lakh Rs.

Chandan is in severe pain due to the chemotherapy. Every week he needs to go in for chemotherapy and all he wants to do is go to school and be with his friends.

Tilak is the only earning member of the family and he makes only 6000 Rs working as an assistant in a local real estate company. He can just about afford household expenses to look after his family but does not have the funds to afford his son's treatment.

He is scared that without this amount he will not be able to save his son and needs our help to do whatever it takes to save his son.

"My son was very happy and full of life but now he is always running a high fever. He barely eats or talks to us. All i want is for him to get better"

Your contribution can give Chandan the treatment he deserves.
