Reach Out is an annual festival hosted by the Interact Club of Mallya Aditi International School. The carnival themed day is a fundraiser for causes our students feel passionately about.
This year we have picked an array of exciting events to attract our visitors. We will have carnival themed gaming stalls, a Battle of the Bands, a Nerf war, and basketball and football matches conducted by a student outreach team from our school, Bounce Back. Visitors will be able to purchase a variety of items from our food trucks, as well as ice creams, deserts, and some vegan options.

Bounce back is a student led initiative, working closely with the Samiksha foundation to provide children with cancer, the non medical support they require. Half of Reach Out’s entry fee earnings combined with funds through sponsorship and matches will be put towards this cause.Money collected through sales and participation at Reach Out events will go towards funding our student volunteer activities for the coming year. These include volunteering at the Care animal shelter, and a lake restoration program with Lake Authority, Bangalore. Sparsh, a NGO in Bangalore, runs a shelter to prevent child labour in Mairsapallya as part of their NCLP programme. The shelter lacks certain basic facilities like toilets and drinking water. We plan to build functional toilets with running water at the shelter.

Reach Out also provides a platform to spread awareness of other charities and causes. These include Edible: selling homemade granola to provide the underprivileged with food through Akshaypatra, Bite Back: fighting dengue at government schools through the spread of herbal mosquito preventives, Auxilium: selling bags to help the Balya foundation, Come to Camels Rescue: rehabilitating abused camels back to Rajasthan, and Batter up: a cupcake and pastry stall spreading awareness of muscular dystrophy.

We hope that together, we can make this day a great success for the many lives it could change. You too can extend your support by making a contribution here.

Sincerely, The Interact Club of MAIS.
