This 1-Month-Old Needs An Urgent Bone Marrow Transplant To Live

“Whenever I hold my baby in my arms, I’m so afraid to let go because it might be the very last time I’ll get to hold him.”
Bincy's baby boy is only 1-month-old and is fighting a serious immune deficiency disease which makes him extremely vulnerable to infections. Bincy and Subilesh have already lost two children to the same disease and now risk losing their only child. Their baby boy needs an immediate bone marrow transplant, without which, he might not live long.

They lost two babies to the same deadly disease
Bincy and Subilesh had given up all hope of ever having a baby again. They were going through life with the heavy burden of losing two children when they received the news of Bincy’s pregnancy. Unfortunately, their happiness was short lived once again. Soon after his birth, Bincy’s baby developed a high fever.
“Every time we thought our family was finally complete, our babies were cruelly taken away from us. Our first baby boy lived only for 90 days, and our baby girl didn’t live long either. I’m afraid that the same fate is in store for our baby now. I don’t think I have the strength to bear another loss."

Bincy’s baby was born 5 years after they lost their second child. This was supposed to be a joyous occasion for the parents, but the baby was born with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency which puts their little one at the risk of being affected by life-threatening infections. The only thing that can save him now is a bone marrow transplant, but his parents are struggling to arrange for funds.
Their baby can be saved, but they need a helping hand
Bincy and Subilesh have been through a lot of pain. They had to watch their two precious children lose their life right in front of their eyes. However, now they have hope. Bincy is a suitable donor for her baby’s bone marrow transplant. The only thing standing in the way of their baby’s recovery is their financial condition.

“It almost kills me inside that I’m so close to being able to save my son, but I’m being held back by our lack of funds. We’ve borrowed nearly 6 lakhs from friends and family, and can’t ask them for anymore. We’re at a loss for ways to arrange for funds now. We’re living in the constant fear of losing our baby.”

Subilesh works as a painter in their hometown, Calicut. His meagre income isn’t enough to even begin to cover his baby’s medical bills. Their little one needs 16 lakhs to have the transplant, but the amount is unimaginable for Subilesh and Bincy. They are not prepared for another heartbreaking loss and are trying to do all they can. However, Bincy and Subilesh can’t save him on their own. They need your help to save their only baby.

Dear Supporters,
Thank you for your love and support. This means a lot to us.
Unfortunately, with inexplicable grief, we're having to inform you all that the baby passed away.
He had successfully undergone the bone marrow transplant and treatment and was discharged but developed infection after a few days. Due to unexpected complications the baby passed away at home
Even after giving the best of treatment possible, we couldn't save the baby. The family is very grateful for the support provided for their baby's treatment. All the funds raised from this campaign have been utilised towards the baby's treatment so far.
Thank you everyone for your support.
Regards,
Dr. Dalon

Dear Supporters,
We have some news to share on Bincy's baby. The baby underwent the transplant but due to complications the baby had to undergo another transplant where the father was the donor. Post the transplant the baby suffered Pneumonia and required ventilator support for 10 days. He is now showing signs of recovery but will require further hospitalization. Due to all of this the cost has escalated to around 25 lakh Rs. The family needs your help and support at this time so that their baby can finally return home.
Please do share this link with your friends and family.
