Where is your money being used?
Scholarship amount for one child for a month: INR 2,500
Scholarship amount for one child for a year: INR 30,000
INR 2,500 donated by you would be added to Buddy4Study India Foundation Meritorious Scholarship’s corpus fund and disbursed to these 52 deserving meritorious students, supporting their education for a year.
The complete amount (100%) that you donate will be sent to the students; we do not take any management fees.

What is Buddy4Study India Foundation Meritorious Scholarship?
Buddy4Study India Foundation Meritorious Scholarship is launched to help deserving and meritorious students of a small village in Odisha.
We have already identified 52 highly vulnerable students from the village who are on the verge of dropping out due to financial constraints and require immediate support. If the funds do not reach these students at the earliest, within the next 6 months, most of these students may drop out of formal education.
Buddy4Study India Foundation Meritorious Scholarship ensures the student gets proper support in regards to their education for one whole year.
Who is the fundraiser?
My name is Anirban Chatterjee and I am the Co-Founder and COO at Buddy4Study. Since we are in the profession of helping students from all strata of the society in gaining access to education, it was important for me to imbibe the values of a giver before putting the word out. I have always believed that one should lead by example. Thus, I made sure I experience the ground reality before encouraging my team members to work in a certain manner.
After founding the company, I took over Operation and spent many an hour on the ground with parents, teacher, principals, NGOs and most importantly students – those who are eager to learn, those whose eyes shine on the name of a book, those who are thirsty for knowledge, those who want to turn around the situation at their homes by studying hard and earning the bread for the family someday, those who are extremely meritorious, those who have millions of dreams in their tiny frames and all of those who, unfortunately, have no money to do any of it. I have heard them narrate stories of the embarrassment they had to face for dropping out of the school, the days they sat hidden in their rooms, the days they picked up their hands to wash the dishes instead of writing an essay. It is then that I realised how small and insignificant our problems are.
And it is then that I realised that I would devote my life to help as many students as I can. But at the same time, another realisation hit me – I cannot make the difference alone. I need to take the stories outside the four walls of their lost self-respect. Buddy4Study has helped me do that and I keep looking for new ways to take their stories as far as I can.

Buddy4Study India Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which aims to bridge the gap between scholarship seekers and scholarship providers. It assists highly vulnerable and meritorious students in remote areas of the country who have the thirst for knowledge and the zeal to succeed in life with the help of education.
Scholarship amount for one child for a month: INR 2,500
