Summer is at its peak, temperatures often crosses 43 degree Celsius. Many stray animals, as well as birds, die in summer due to lack of drinking water. Many water bodies has considerably dried up and the source of drinking water particularly for animals and birds has come down drastically. In our daily busy life, we may often forget to notice what is happening for stray animals without safe drinking water and struggling of birds searching for water in our surrounding. It is pitiful to see several stray dogs and cattle desperately looking for water. Through our ‘Water Pot Project’, we have been distributed water pots to our exiting community based animal welfare groups, school animal welfare clubs and volunteers in free to manage drinking water for stray animals like dogs, bulls, cats, cows and birds etc. everyday. Our project regularly monitoring with these grassroots level workers and ensure the smooth implementation. We, as responsible people are requested kindly be a part of our life saving initiative and save these animals and birds from the plight of summer months. Even a little support will go a long way to prevent the issues of premature death of birds and stray animals caused by dehydration in this summer.
