Assam is one of the highly flood prone state in India. Every year thousands of villages reels under water, which affects millions of people. The flood water widely damages the houses, roads, bridges, schools and agricultural fields across the state.
The First wave of flood in 2017 has already affected over 17 Lakh people in Assam. Thousands of victims are in desperate need of relief supplies. We are providing food and medical assistance to the affected people.
The funds raised here will be used to distribute 10,000 food packets, 2,000 Milk & Biscuits Kit and conduct 15 medical camps in the worst affected areas of Assam.
Food packet contains Veg-rice or Chapati-Sabji and costs Rs 40/packet.
10,000 x Rs 40 = 4,00,000/-
Milk & Biscuits Kit for Children costs Rs 50/Kit2000 x Rs 50 = 1,00,000/-
Each Medical Camps costs Rs 20,000
15 x Rs 20,000 = 3,00,000
Rs. 1,000 donated by you will help us to feed 25 flood victims.
Rs. 5,000 donated by you will help us to feed 100 flood affected children.
Rs 20,000 donated by you will help us to provide medical assistance to one flood affected village.
All donations to Rapid Response are 50% tax exempt under sec 80G.
