The XLRI Covid Relief Fund is an initiative by the XLRI Alumni Community, and supported by XLRI Jamshedpur, with a mission to save lives and support communities (especially the marginalized and vulnerable communities) affected by the Covid-19. The Fund aims to support ground level initiatives and projects in India to tackle the current healthcare and humanitarian crisis due to the pandemic.

The key areas currently identified for immediate deployment are:
a) Support setup and management of Covid Care Centres
b) Supply oxygen concentrators, cylinders and other critical medical equipment
c) Support setup and maintenance of Covid Isolation Centres for the underprivileged communities

This campaign is supported by experienced implementation partners, Covid Action Collaboratives and dedicated individuals and volunteers to help us in identifying projects and ensuring targeted and impactful utilization of the funds.

We invite the XLRI community and Friends of XLRI to contribute to the Fund, and to reach out to your families and friends to help us make a larger impact “For the Greater Good”.

The Fund will be managed by a core Task Force consisting of cross-batch/ cross-region XLRI alumni to identify and select projects, deploy funds, monitor progress and impact and to maintain transparency of usage of the donations. Details of supported projects and utilization of funds will be updated and shared periodically.

If you would like the Task Force to consider specific proposals and projects, please write to us at: xlricovidrelief@gmail.com

Donations can be made through Milaap platform or through direct bank transfers.
