As most of you may already know (thanks to my endless stream of birthday month snaps and texts), the 23rd of March is when I get to celebrate my 22nd birthday. 

On this day, each year, i’m constantly reminded of how fortunate and blessed I am to have had such a comfortable life - most of which I have spent in a setting that has been incredibly conducive to learning and personal development. Unfortunately, not all children are as fortunate as me. Growing up as a child with special needs, with lack of access to education and in the absence of a supportive, inclusive and empathetic community can be incredibly challenging.

This year, in lieu of gifts, id love for you all to please consider making a small donation to the Ankura Foundation - a non-profit organization that works tirelessly to create customized intervention plans, learning modules and inclusive communities for the education and upliftment of underprivileged children and children with special healthcare needs.
