Why am I fundraising?

Anjana, 4-yr old girl from Chennai, is my close friend's daughter. She has been diagnosed with a very rare form of blood cancer called Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML). The only known cure for JMML is a stem-cell transplant.

Anjana has been advised to undergo stem-cell transplant from an unrelated donor. The cost of the procedure is INR 40,00,000 - Forty Lakhs in Indian Rupees (approx. USD 63,000). Since this is over and beyond the resource limits of her parents, I am setting up this fundraiser to raise money for her medical expenses.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

All the funds will be used for Anjana's medical expenses
