Ajaya is a 12 year old, only child, from the village of Happenahalli, Karnataka.He hails from a farming family and has been diagnosed with Aplastic anemia. This is the explanation I found for Aplastic anemia on WIKI, if you want to know what exactly it is : "Aplastic anemia (AA) is a disease in which the bone marrow, and the blood stem cells that reside there, are damaged.[1] This causes a deficiency of all three blood cell types (pancytopenia): red blood cells (anemia), white blood cells (leukopenia), and platelets (thrombocytopenia).[2][3] Aplastic refers to inability of the stem cells to generate the mature blood cells."

He has been getting fortnightly blood transfusions for the last 6 months to stay alive. The doctors have recommended a series of injections as a initial treatment towards curing him. These injections are expensive and his family cannot afford them. The treatment will cost atleast 2 lakhs. We are still short of 1 lakh for his treatment. Once these injections are administered he will be put under medication and observation for the next 6 months atleast, to gauge success. Please help us raise money for this boy and sanction him a chance to live.
