Help Mahreen Save Dogs and Give Them Shelter

I am Mahreen Syed and I am the Hyderabad city head of Being The Real Human Foundation. I am a student and I love dogs.

I have seen a lot of animal cruelty around me and animals suffering for their basic needs like food and water. Animals suffer from deadly diseases like canine distemper, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza which can be prevented with a few vaccinations which cost around 300 rupees each. We not only vaccinate dogs for anti Rabies but also vaccinate them with 7 in one and the boosters which prevent these deadly diseases. We at Being the Real human foundation fight for animal rights and look after their over all well being.

Our Vision

We at Being the Real Human foundation want every animal to have a safe environment around them where they receive medication, food, water, shelter and lots of love.

Why do we need funds?

As a student and a volunteer I can help dogs only to a certain extent and In some critical rescues it gets difficult as the medication and surgeries can cost a lot. We are currently taking care of 50 dogs and these funds will enable us help more dogs.

Raised Funds will be used for:

1. For providing meals twice a day for animals
2. Vaccinations like Anti Rabies, 7 in one + boosters and Corona.
3. Medication for injuries, fever, viral infections , skin infection, deworming etc.,
4. Serious Medical emergencies for dogs/cats who are subjected to  accidents, fractures etc.,
5. Providing a shelter
6. Controlling disease causing parasites like ticks, fleas and lice
7. Getting Animal Birth Control done and to provide post surgery care.

Our Works So Far

1. Our team has rescued and treated over 250 stray dogs in Hyderabad.

2. We help the dog find a new home after the treatment when ever needed.     We encourage everybody to adopt stray dogs.

3. We are currently providing  food , shelter , vaccinations and treatment for     over 50 dogs, in which a few are disabled.

4. We have successfully sterilized over 160 dogs so that the population is            controlled.

 Dear Supporters,

Since you all are aware of the disaster that happened with Tyson almost one and a half months ago (just in case if you are not aware, please have a look at my last update), I would like to express my gratitude and thank all the supporters out there who donated, stood with us and helped Tyson tackle the great agony he was into. To be precise, I have no words to describe the pain he went through.

The doctors suggested that skin grafting surgery is necessary for him as the 1st layer of muscle was completely torn apart from his stomach. He underwent surgery on 19th March 2020. He was healing but in the healing process his skin and muscle shrunk and from the upper part of his stomach and also because of his movements the sutures came off. I was also facing difficulty in giving him the medications daily as he was in a lot of pain and he would cry all night wouldn't co-operate in eating the medicines, but I managed to take good care of him.  50% of his wound has healed now but the top part of the wound Tyson needs to undergo the painful process of skin grafting surgery again.

Since I am addressing all the dog lovers, please help us save the man’s best friend because when a 50-pound mammal licks your tears away and sits on your Lap, it’s hard to feel sad right? Now it’s our turn to return the favor.

Please donate today to help us give him a better life.

Dear Supporters

Tyson is one of my stray dogs that I take care of near my place. On a bright sunny day, he was napping under a car knowing he'd get up and play around with other dogs, but a disaster happened with him when the owner of the car knowing that a dog was sleeping under his car started the car and ran over him on a very aggressive level, I mean how cruel can one be?!Due to the friction, his muscle and skin were torn apart from the ends of his ribs to his penis completely, he is in deep agony and is shivering with pain. The skin is so damaged that it cannot be stitched. He might need a surgery in which the skin needs to be taken out from the other parts of his body for his damaged area, and this procedure is very painful.  He has been stabilized now but it will take a long time for him to heal. Please help Tyson live a better life.

Dear Donors

We are treating dogs with skin allergies currently. There was also an emergency case of a road accident which we attended. The dog was in critical condition and the internal organs were injured and also a few fractures and there was bleeding from the private parts of the puppy. We
tried our best but sadly the puppy did not survive.

Thank you for your support and love, please continue sharing and supporting the campaign.
