Help Aditya's Father For A Bone Marrow Transplant

Hello All,
I am Aditya Kulkarni working as Process Associate at GEP. My father(Ravindra Kulkarni) had cancer which is cured but doctors have suggested us bone marrow transplant for his stable health and also to avoid cancer recurrence in future.
On my dad's cancer treatment my family has already spent the entire saving's amount & also exhausted his medi-claim as well. I am the only child in the family.
For bone marrow transplant the estimate is approximately 12 Lacs which includes procedure of the transplant and tests. The Time deadline is 21 days.
Dr.Subapraksh Sanyal is the doctor who will be treating my dad and he will be performing the treatment in Fortis Hospital, Mulund. Attached below are the related documents for verification.
I have attached my fathers medical history documents which contains his medical treatment sheet, histo-pathology report of cancer detection and PET-CT scan, Quotation for bone marrow transplant.
The money donated will be used to pay for Treatment's & medical expenses.
If you could read this, then least that I expect is to share this on Facebook and other social media, so it reaches maximum number of people.

Hello Everyone,

We are very happy to inform you that my father health is good and he is living regular life.

First of all thank you for all of your support.

We tried to do transplant but as there are some procedure which are needs to be done before starting it. My fathers health was not that good at the time of procedure and doctor wanted to collect 4100 White blood cells from his body, we performed this activity twice in 3 days span. The results were not good as doctors were able to collect only 1800 combined from two attempt.

Doctors suggested us that we will try again after one year but as it is too much of risk for him health wise, so with the doctors opinion we decided to not operate on him.

Thank you again for all your support and your wishes, they mean so much for me and my family.

I hope I will be in position to help someone in their crises, like you did to me.

Thank you very much once again.

Hello All,

First of all thank you all for your support through this tough time of our life. We can not thank every one in person, but it really means a lot for us.

We have started treatment for the bone marrow transplant somehow we failed in it. For transplant we suppose to collect stem cell from his body. These cell we were suppose to give him when we perform transplant procedure because in transplant they give chemotherapy (i.e. BEAM chemo). It is one of the harshest chemotherapy.

This chemotherapy damage bone marrow for some stipulated time and the bone marrow will not be able to produce stem cells to fight internal infection that time the collected stem cells would have been infused in his body to fight infections.

For all this doctor said they need at least 4000 stem cells, but we were able to collect only 1500 in first 2 days procedure, after this failed attempt we have consult doctor again on last Saturday.

As per doctor even if try another time that will give 1500 count again and the total cell count will be only 3000. In this case if we start transplant that will be risky for my father as his body is not fit to produce enough quantity of stem cells. The risk is very high now so my father is bit scared now and is not ready to take chance with his life.

This first attempt o cost us around 5 lac. In this insurance did not work and we all are thankful that you all helped us because with out your help it would have been financial disaster.

Once again Thank you all.
