Help Young Sushanth Who Is Fighting For His Life After A Road Accident

After all, what’s life, anyway? We are born, we live a little while. Yes, a few of us live a little while the rest merely survive.

I am Sai Prasad, fundraising for my son Sushanth. He was all full of life until that happened in his life. Good that he did not die and a bitter part that both his legs are crushed in the brutal accident. Me and my family were on our way to a temple in Chennai when we met with a fatal accident on the month of June 2017. A Tipper truck carrying full load of sand which was coming towards Chennai lost control and turned towards the right side and rimmed in to the divider, and fell on our car. I was driving the car and beside me was my wife, behind me my son and my daughter was seated next to my son. My son’s leg got stuck under the driver’s seat which was crushed by the truck’s overloaded body. Both his legs got stuck under the seat and was crushed. The bone and tissues could be seen as the injury was brutal. He was taken to the nearby hospital where the doctors advised us to take him to a well-equipped hospital as the hospital where we took him did not have sufficient system to treat him. By then there was a heavy blood loss that my son went unconscious.

He was then rushed to Apollo hospitals with no conscious. The Doctors saved his life by providing him the first aid and then my son went through 2 major surgeries.

He is still in treatment from then, and the expenses have gone way above my ability. The doctors have told that my son needs to go through 2 more surgeries where there is no assurance about his legs functioning normal as before. As days goes on with the treatment, we liquidated all our properties to bring back my son’s life back to normal.

Ever since his admittance in the hospital, about 17 Lac Rupees has been spent on his medication and other hospital bills.
I am working at Cams Private Limited, Mutual Fund Registrars as a Team Leader and earn around 30k/month. All our friends and family had helped us a lot in all possible way and now we are stranded with arms high seeking a helping hand.

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for the support. Yesterday, Sai Prasad had a review with the doctor. The Plate removal on the right leg is planned for the first week of Jan as the bone is set well. The left leg is showing some improvement and so the bone grafting is postponed for time being.  Plates that are kept vertical to the left leg will be removed after checking if the leg bones are sturdy.

Thank you all for your support and blessings that is helping Sushanth recover faster. Please do pray for his health and speedy recovery. Will keep you posted.

Dear Donors,

Sushanth has been doing well post surgeries and recovering as expected.  The healing needs a more time and only after the skin heals the doctors will consider about the surgery to remove the plates and start ortho treatment.  The donated fund is helping Sai Prasad and once again we thank all donors for the splendid support.

Thanks You!

Dear Donors,

Thank You all for the continuous support provided to support Sushanth.

Sushanth is recovering well as expected and the doctors have said that the tissues are healing well but still 3-5 dressing is required.  Once the dressing is stopped, doctors have advised leaving the treated area open which will allow the tissues to heal faster.  Once this is completely set the ortho will take over and start the treatment.

Millions of thanks to the donors who have supported so far and this fund is supporting Sai Prasad well.  Please do pray for his recovery.
