2-months-old Aaron Yadav, has hardly been home. Since his birth, he has been in the ICU for battling pneumonia, infections and other complications. His parents Neelavathy and Franklin are desperate to see a smile on their son's face.

Baby Aaron had wheezing and struggled to breathe

Neelavathy did not have any complications during her pregnancy and she was thrilled when her baby was finally born. She and her husband Franklin were completely unprepared for bad news. They were devastated when their small baby started wheezing and gasping for breath. Baby Aaron's airway passages in his lungs are blocked. He was rushed to a private hospital soon after birth for breathing support.

Just a few days after his birth, Baby Aaron became so weak that he was in the ICU for a month. He was fed via tubes. After struggling for almost a month, Neelavathy took him home. The new, anxious parents were relieved that their baby had finally recovered. But even before she could experience the joy of being a mother to her child, he once again had to be rushed to the hospital. Baby Aaron had a severe pneumonia infection and became unable to breathe.

Baby Aaron has pneumonia and parents are desperate to save him

"I'm waiting to hold my baby and feed him. I have only seen him struggling to breathe and crying in pain. I had so many dreams about raising him, now all I want is to see him get better and healthy. How much can his little body endure?" - Neelavathy.

Franklin is struggling to save his son. He is heartbroken yet manages to stay strong for his wife and child. When the doctors told him that the baby was critical, he told Neelavathy that the baby was recovering. No matter what, he is determined to never let down his wife and son.

Franklin has exhausted all his savings

Franklin and Neelavathy live a modest life but had set aside some savings for their baby. They never thought that they would have to spend all they had to save him. They do not regret spending money but what is painful is that, despite doing all they can possibly do, they are still short of funds.

"I have exhausted all my savings, and sold all my wife's jewellery. I have begged everyone I know to help. I don't know what else I can do. I can't imagine going home without him. He is very precious to us. I have to save him at any cost but I'm helpless." - Franklin.

Baby Aaron is recovering gradually but needs breathing support

Franklin works in a private company. He is not able to be regular at work due to the treatment. He spends sleepless nights. Every day, he struggles to pay the medical bills. Baby Aaron's medical expenses are mounting up every day. Everday is a challenge for him to save his son's life.

Baby Aaron is currently in the ICU and is showing gradual improvements every day but still requires intensive ventilation. He will need a small surgery after he is removed from the ventilator and will need another 3 weeks of hospital stay.
