Our Story

Hira Roy, is a 29-year-old married woman residing in Cooch Behar district, West Bengal. She is engaged in the grocery business. She sells flour, rice, oil, spices, sugar, salt, biscuit, etc in her grocery store. She has a household of 3 members and a monthly income of INR 9,000. She wants to expand her grocery business by purchasing more goods like flour, rice, oil, spices, sugar, salt, etc at her grocery store.

Hira Roy leads a group of sixteen women. She has applied for a group loan of INR 700,000 from WeGrow, one of Milaap's field partners. The rest of the group members are also engaged in the income-generating activities. All of these women and their families will be thankful to their lenders.
