41 year old Ravi Kumar is diagnosed with high grade lymphoma cancer. Ravi is married for 15 years. He and his wife have a 10 year old son. He was also supporting his parents who are 72 and 75 years old. Ravi Kumar always fought to foster his family. He worked as a sales executive for a pharma company in Rampur (U.P.) with a salary of Rs 5,000 per month. His wife supported him, working as a teacher in a small school with a salary of Rs 3,200 per month. 

In October 2014, Ravi was diagnosed with high grade lymphoma cancer. This cancer is very aggressive, fast developing and painful. Since the treatment started in October, Ravi has lost his job and his wife had to quit hers in order to take care of her husband. The travel to the hospital is 210 km one way for the treatment several times from Rampur,Uttar Pradesh to Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital,New Delhi if not hospitalized.

In their struggle to pay for the treatment, the family loaned money and sold everything that was possible to meet the needs. Till now the family was able to spend Rs 5,00,000 for the treatment. Now they have reached their limits, but the treatment has to be continued to save Ravi's life. And now according to doctors at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital in New Delhi have estimated the another cost of treatement at Rs 10,00,000 which is required to diagnose and save his life. The family cannot arrange this another huge amount. Ravi Kumar is a loving husband, a caring father and a dutiful son. His whole family depends on him.
