My brother, Baljit Singh, is 17 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. He has been admitted at Apollo Speciality Hospital in Chennai.

Baljit was recently diagnosed with the disease. We live in Asansol, West Bengal, but we hail from Amritsar, Punjab. Around 3 years ago, Baljit developed a fever that refused to go away. We went to all the doctors and hospitals we could think of to diagnose his condition but we were unsuccessful – no one was able to tell us what was wrong with him. All the medications prescribed to him did not help. Our uncle then suggested we visit CMC Vellore for a diagnosis. Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck at CMC either in figuring out Baljit's condition. The doctors doubted tuberculosis or jaundice but there were no concrete results. We were there for around one and a half months. Our uncle asked us to try Apollo Children's Hospital in Chennai. After we arrived in Chennai, we got Baljit admitted at Apollo Children's Hospital, after which he was shifted to Apollo Speciality Hospital. He is currently under the care of Dr. Revathi Raj.

After various tests were conducted on Baljit, we came to know he is suffering from stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. He needs to undergo chemotherapy for around 6 months and the cost for the same is around INR 8,00,000. We belong to an extremely humble background – my mother is a homemaker, while my older brother, Sunny, is 21 years old and works in the coal mining field. My father passed away around 2 and a half years back. I, Daljit Singh, am 18 years old and I'm a 1^st year B.Com student. My older brother is the only earning member of the family and we can barely make ends meet. I implore you to step forward and contribute generously in helping save my little brother's life. Thank you.
