Most underprivileged children in India do not even get the chance for an eye-check up, let alone corrective spectacles. They just go through years of blurry vision and head-aches without even having access to the most basic of vision correction. Your kind contribution will be used to fund eye check-up and buy prescription spectacles for underprivileged children. The project is being run by my parents with the help of their Rotary club friends, so you can rest assured every rupee will be spent for the good of these kids :) Approximately Rs.1000 / $20 would be the right amount for one kid, so hope you can keep that as a benchmark for your donation.
