He underwent the operation and is doing perfectly fine. The operation was successful and as of now his ear is bandaged. After three weeks, once it heals, the doctors will attach the machine and switch it on.

Hello Donors,
We are going ahead with the surgery planned for 18th January 2019 for which we are initiating the fund transfer to the company that provides the implant device. Due to his thin nerve issues we are starting with his right ear first and then after 3/4 months will operate the left ear after checking the response of him thru the device implanted on the right ear.
Thanking you all for your overwhelming response on this fundraiser and me and my wife are lucky and blessed enough to have such beautiful souls around us and standing by us in the need of this hour!!

Hello Everyone!!
It's been quite some time since the fundraiser was started. Last month and during the start of this month we made a couple of rounds to Hinduja Hospital for getting the CT scan and MRI reports done for Ridit. We were a bit shocked to know after the Scans that Ridit has few complications in his surgery. But the surgeon has informed that the surgery is possible. Given the facts of complications now we are facing some possible limitations for going ahead with Bi-lateral surgery.
Hence we have fixed the date of 18th January for taking Ridit through Uni-lateral surgery for the Right ear. This should give us a way to know how much progress does ridit do after the surgery. Based on that we will plan for the left ear after 4 months. This is the latest update I have.
Again I and my wife are thankful to all of you for the great financial assistance you have provided us. It is because of this assistance that I and my wife were able to take up the surgery decision so fast. Thank you Again!!
