We are now moving to the crown of India by setting up 20 libraries in Kashmir. The cost of 1 library is Rs 7000 as mentioned earlier.

Through Project #Mission💯 SABIA has been able to set up a hundred functional school libraries in hilly, underdeveloped, and inaccessible areas across India. The 100 schools partnering under this project are located in 13 states. This is our chance to change these young lives for the better.

We are now taking our campaign to Kashmir where we will be setting up libraries in 8 schools. The current amount of funds will be sufficient to do the setup in 3 schools as follows-

It is our belief that each child deserves an education that gives her the means to uplift herself. They can do wonders when presented with opportunities and reading gives wings to their ideas.


Components of the Library Development Program
 
1. Library Kit-
100 Books (avg), Student Badges, Record-keeping plans, Library jewels, rules, and cards.

2. Library Committee-
Students are encouraged to run the library which teaches them important values like responsibility, accountability, and good management.

3. Story Sessions-
Read-aloud, storytelling, and other fun activities for at least three months by volunteers, Starting from class 3 and above.

4. Library Orientation Program-
The culmination of the reading program Skits, songs, poems, presentations to demonstrate the working of the library.

We have introduced our Library Development Program in 145 schools across 15 States and 3 UTs across India in the past 2 years. We are grateful for your support and belief in SABIA.

With your support we have set up libraries in 80 schools under #Mission💯. We are now left with 20 schools where the library setup kits need to be sent. Following is the list of the 20 schools-
