Hello all Supporters,

My Sister fought very well against Blood cancer. But at last she lost her life fighting.
She got expire on 2nd october on Ventilator. Doctors said that her heart stopped working due to stress and she tooked her last breath at 4 am early morning.

Whole family are in trauma and would like to thank you all for supporting us.

Though we have incurred almost 12 lakhs for last 2 and half year during her treatment. Milaap supported us to have somewhat finacial relief during this hard time.

Here is an update on Sapna's health. Sapna was discharged a week back after the third cycle of chemotherapy was administered to her. There is another cycle of chemotherapy scheduled in the next week.

So far her response to the treatment has been positive in spite of having minor side effects like fever, hair loss, nausea etc. As per the doctor's suggestion, she was supposed to under 6 cycles of chemotherapy before undergoing the bone marrow transplant.

There were tests conducted and the initial reports suggest that the siblings are not a match to proceed with the bone marrow transplant. The family is approaching other sources to understand whether other options are available.

Dear Supporters,

The current update is HLA mapping for me and my elder sister are awaiting. Also, Sapna's treatment is showing a positive result that her blood hemoglobin increased from 6 mg to 12 mg and platelets counts increased from 17000 to 18300. We will keep you posted on the same.
