This amount of 25648 was also sent to the poor and the needy after May through Iniyan and other friends.

Lastly, I would also like to mention that through my Facebook I was able to collect and send 6,36,000 to the activists directly.

I thank once again all the donors.
Also my heartfelt thanks to the Milaap team who were very prompt in responding to all my questions and doubts.

Dear Donors,
As mentioned earlier, funds withdrawn have been sent to different activists. Since things are becoming normal, we have reduced our works and give essential items only to the very needy. As the lockdown comes to an end, I would like to close this fundraising campaign. Already I have transferred more money than what I collected here. I will write a details post about how much donation was collected and how it was distributed on my facebook page.
Thanks to you all.

Dear Donors,

Funds collected have been sent to different activists working in the field in Tamil Nadu. So far we have withdrawn around 1,30,000 to RS Ameena's account and used it as mentioned.

For example,
Odiyen Lakshmanan in Coimbatore tribal areas. He is instrumental in organising community kitchens which are being run regularly. A story has been telecast on News18 TV about this initiative.

Aanman and Iniyan in Chennai who have been distributing food and essential items. After the 4th lockdown started, DMK also supplied food pockets.

Sunilraj and his team of young people distributed essential items to Irular community people near Arakkonam.

Prof. Ramya distributing cooked food for the poor and roadside people in Nagappattinam.

There are thousands of photos. I am uploading just a few photos here.
More details will be updated as and when I can make collages.
Thanks to everyone for their contribution.
