Fundraise for a Cause with Milaap : the Best Crowdfunding | Milaap
11th February 2020
Dear Supporters,

As we informed in the previous update, we were supposed to transfer the remaining funds to Master Prem Anand and Baby Prapti. Please find the links below.   -

 https://milaap.org/fundraisers/support-prem-anand-1
 https://milaap.org/fundraisers/support-baby-prapti-panda.

But fortunately, both the campaigns have raised sufficient amount through crowdfunding to start the immediate treatment. Hence we are not transferring the remaining amount from Dhayanath's campaign to the above mentioned campaigns.

However we would like to inform that there is another patient - Chinni Krishna  from the same hospital, who needs to undergo his Small Bowel Transplant tonight (11-02-2020) and there is a shortage of funds for his transplant. Hence, post discussing with the hospital and taking the consent from Dhayanath's family, we will be transferring the rest of the amount from Dhayanath's campaign to Chinni Krishna's campaign. Please find the link for Chinni Krishna's campaign.

All donors of this campaign will receive periodic updates on the status of Chinni Krishna's health and treatment via emails and messages.

Dear Supporters,

As mentioned in the previous update, the outstanding amount of Rs. 4 lacs out of 12 lacs has been cleared and is utilised from the campaign. The remaining amount has been covered through insurance. With regards to remaining amount available, we are channalising it to 2 other patients who are in need of funds for their medical treatment.

We are transferring approximately Rs. 10.2 lacs to 5 month old Prapti. She is suffering from Osteopetrosis from the past few months. She is currently admitted and receiving medication and has to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant. Her family is completely dependent on money raised through crowdfunding for her treatment as they have exhausted all their sources. Here is the campaign link.

We are transferring another Rs. 10.5 lacs to 13 year old Prem Anand's campaign. He has been diagnosed with a kidney disorder and the only treatment available for him is a Kidney Transplant. He is admitted in Apollo Hospital Chennai for the same.

Even though Dhayananth could not make it, we are trying to make sure that your donations are impacting the lives of multiple other children. Thanks again for your love and support.

Dear Supporters,

Thanks for all the love and support.

As mentioned in the update posted on 16th January, Master Dhayanath is no more. Post discussion with the hospital, we are given to understand that as on date there is a current outstanding of Rs 12 Lakhs with the hospital. The family has paid approximately Rs. 4 Lakhs whereas the rest is expected to be recovered via insurance. Considering the same we would be immediately reimbursing the expenses incurred by the family in the hospital. The final approval for medical insurance is awaited and based on the approved insurance amount, further reimbursement due if any would be made towards the family's account.

After settling the family's expenses,  the balance funds is proposed to be utilised towards the treatment of other patients in urgent need of support.

To begin with, Aaradhana,  aged 6 years, and suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A form of Blood Cancer) requires intense chemotherapy to recover. They've only raised Rs 27,736 out of the required amount of Rs 10,00,000 so far. A sum of Rs 50,000 will be transferred towards her campaign from this campaign for the treatment to begin. Here's the link to their campaign -
