Siddharth was suffering from infection in his lungs due to which liver transplantation can not be done for a while ,so he went through tracheostomy, a small surgery which help in breathing and is still on ventilator.

Sidharth is on ventilator , doctor has detected lung infection and pneumonia due to which transplantation will be risky they're hoping for his recovery first.
