Puspendu is a hardworking student who is learning extra skills

Pushpendu is in 8th class now. He was in school during the time we visited his house. He takes tuitions in all the subjects with one teacher. He is an average student in studies. His mother Lakshmi took the loan to cover his fees, dress and other educational materials. Pushpendu goes to tuition in the morning and evening also.

His mother is a housewife and his father owns a tea shop. Lakshmi was not able to tell the income the family earns. Pushpendu's father had a grocery shop earlier and switched to tea shop as he felt more demand in tea business and he got a good place for a shop. Pushpendu apart from studies also learns auto mechanic work. He come home after tuitions and sits for studies for some time. His mother says that he has very less time to play. She wants to support him in whatever he desires to do in future. 

Pushpendu's mother thanks the lenders wholeheartedly and says that the amount they receive in bulk really helps and if they wouldn't have received it they would have faced problems. They are not facing any problem in repaying the loan and has good relations with BJS, the field partner of Milaap.
