Battling the wind that indicated the arrival of rain, we arrived at Bhujeswari's house at around 2 PM. The President of the group Jay Laxmi was preparing lunch for her family. On seeing us, she came out of her house, asking us to sit on the mat, she had just laid down for us. Jay Laxmi told me how beneficial the solar light has been, particularly during the monsoon, when the power cuts have become more common. Another member of the group Jukta had a similar opinion to share. "Now that it's raining, power cuts have become common. Thanks to the solar light, we can work peacefully in the evening," said Jukta. Bhujeswari, the quietest of all, said that the besides making their routine feasible, it is also allows her to charge her phone. "I can now charge my phone even when there is no electricity," said Bhujeswari. After exchanging pleasantries with the other group members who had arrived at Bhujeswari's house, I left to meet our next borrower. As I looked around, I realized how I had misinterpreted the impact of the nature's fall. Surrendering myself to the beauty of nature, I bid goodbye to the wonderful women I had just met.
