Mamata’s three daughters are her greatest motivators to work hard in life. Mamata is a cook and her husband works as a driver. Her three daughters are students of class 10, 8 and 6. She mentioned her eldest one, Madhusmita, as an excellent student. “Madhusmita is a brilliant student. But since the money conditions were stringent at home we took a loan to educate her. The money is required to pay for her class 10 examination fees, coaching classes, books and school dress.”, Mamata adds while talking about her daughter. Madhusmita goes to a private school. She is working hard to score good marks in her board exams. Mamata says, “My daughter likes Hindi a lot. I also think Hindi is an important language if you want to go out and make career for yourself in any field. My knowledge of Hindi is lacking. I want Madhusmita to learn the language well.” Mamata’s other two daughter are studying in government school. She has saved Rs. 6,000 from the loan money for her other two girls. She uses the money when need arises, like buying books or paying at school. Mamata hopes for a good future for all her daughters..
