Aiswarya is a singer, dancer and an intelligent student

Aiswarya was at school when we reached her house. Her mother Minati came to talk to us. She is a member of BJS (Milaap's partner) from 9 years. Minati has four children out of which her elder daughter got married one month back. She used the loan for Aishwarya's tuition fees and to buy educational materials. Aiswarya is in 12th class now and has taken arts as her subject. She studies tuition at three places. 

Aiswarya is very good in studies. She got 2nd rank in her class. Minati says that she doesn't have to say anything to her, Aiswarya studies on her own. Aiswarya goes to tuition in the morning and after school also. She is passionate about dance and singing. She has finished her 5th year of Rabindra Sangeeth course. She also learns western dance. Aiswarya desires to do nursing training along with her B.A. after finishing the 12th class. She also teaches dance and singing to small kids. She goes to events during festivals and such to perform. She earns her pocket money from it. "Aiswarya has very good in behavior and looks better than me" said Minati.

MInati's husband is a lorry driver. Her works the full day and earns Rs 400 to 500 per day when he gets work.He is in the same line since before his marriage. Minati has a grocery shop from which she earns Rs 300 to 400 per day. They have the grocery shop from around 6 years. The shop was under repair when I went there. Earlier she used to do bidi binding work. Since the bidi work was tiring and less rewarding, she started the grocery shop.

Minati thanks the lenders for the loan. She will require more loan for her since Aiswarya desires to continue studies and the expenses will increase.
