But Yakhub is just as worried that he will not be able to afford Mujeeb's treatment which can run up to Rs 1 lakh a day. For just two days, he has needed to borrow Rs 3 lakhs. “I am an RTC conductor in Hyderabad. I earn only Rs 15,000 and I have spent everything we had on treatment till now. The doctors have told us that Mujeeb will get better if his condition is monitored but if I don't get money, my situation will be the reason my son doesn't get better,” Yakhub says.
Yakhub needs help saving MujeebAt the moment, there is a lot of internal bleeding in Mujeeb's body.
But with treatment, he will get better because he is a young, healthy child. But to get better, he needs to remain in the ICU for the next 8-12 days and his blood levels need to be monitored constantly.
Yakhub, a bus conductor is Hyderabad has very limited means. He has run out of funds to pay the rest of the hospital bill.
