76-year-old Naik Didar Singh, a retired military veteran, has lost everything in the recent floods. Once a proud soldier who served the nation with courage, he now struggles to protect his family from hunger and cold. His small home was destroyed, and his farmland was washed away in the rising waters. The man who once defended his country now finds himself fighting for survival.

The floods have severely affected retired soldiers and their families. Many veterans who once wore the uniform with pride are now left with nothing. Their homes have cracked, their fields are gone, and their savings have disappeared. For people who gave their youth to the nation, old age has become a time of struggle and pain.

Some of their stories are truly heartbreaking. One veteran’s son, the child of a war hero, earns only ₹200 a day as a labourer just to feed his parents. Another elderly soldier lost both his crops and livestock in the floods the only things that helped him survive. These heroes, who once stood strong for our safety, now need someone to stand for them.

Seeing their pain, Gaurav Shukla, the son of a Kargil War veteran, decided to take action. He started helping these retired soldiers rebuild their lives. Through his team, he is providing rations, blankets, medical aid, and education for the children of veterans who have lost everything. His efforts have already brought relief to many families.

But the need is still very large. Hundreds of veterans and their families are still waiting for food, shelter, and warmth. Gaurav cannot do it alone he needs your help to reach them.

Your small contribution can make a big difference. It can help a soldier’s family rebuild their home, receive food and medicines, and stay warm this winter. These heroes once protected us from every danger now, it’s our turn to protect them.
