Samaya,the father, passed away after Ramcharan’s first birthday due to heart stroke and since then Sharada,the mother has been battling all on her own making ends meet with no support from her in-laws and a job that pays only Rs2000.
After 8 years of marriage, Sharada and Samaya’s first child was born and needless to say their happiness had no limits but soon they discovered their son, Ramcharan, has a hole in his heart and needs a surgery.They stayed strong and were ready to get past this but everything started falling apart after Samaya's sudden death.
Sharada would always take a bus to travel to the hospital whenever necessary. They live in a village in Warangal which is 300 kms away. Whenever he needs to go to the hospital, the entire village comes together to pool money so that they can rent a vehicle for Ramcharan. Sharada knows that though people around her have helped her a lot all these years, arranging another 7 lakhs is very difficult for them.
Ram loves pickles but can’t have them
Ramcharan doesn't eat much due to loss of appetite but eats an entire bowl of rice if given with pickle. But he can’t have much of it as it leads to accumulation of fluids in his belly which end up in another operation.
With each passing day their hopes of Ram getting better is fading due to financial crisis and they feel helpless yet again. Ramcharan can have a happy and healthy life with your help.

After 10 long years she was able to afford his surgery but in vain
Sharda started working as a peon in the same department where her husband used to work. Finally after 10 years of struggle,she managed to gather about 7 lakhs with the help from her relatives and employers. Ramcharan underwent a heart surgery in January this year but the surgery wasn’t successful. He needs another one as soon as possible.

“My people from village are very helpful taking care of Ramcharan as their own child and also helped us with the treatment," - Sharada.

Ramcharan is a very curious child and keeps asking a lot of questions to which Sharada has no answers. She wishes for him to go to school and learn but is afraid that he will fall sick. When Ramcharan was 6 years old, he fainted while playing with his friend at school and got very sick. He stopped going to school regularly since then.
