Protik can’t even speak because of his pain
2-year-old Protik is in dire need of chemotherapy. That’s his only hope to beat Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, which is a deadly form of blood cancer.

They have travelled from their village to come to Mumbai for their son’s treatment. They have even rented out a place but now they can’t afford to continue the expenses. It costs over Rs. 20,000 every month just to meet basic needs. They have borrowed from everyone they know - they don’t know who to go to for help.

Litan Banik works as a labourer in a shop and he earns a meagre sum Rs. 7000 per month. Litam’s old father is begging other villagers for money now, while the desperate parents are spending sleepless nights worrying about the future of their baby boy. They’ve sold whatever they could and now are left with no savings in order to pay 5 lakhs for the continued treatment.
