My name is Sadhana, and my husband Chandan is fighting for his life. He is only 38 years old, but he is suffering from end-stage liver failure. Watching him lie in the hospital, weak and in pain, breaks my heart every single day. Years ago, Chandan lost both his parents to illness his father died of blood cancer, and his mother passed away from liver cirrhosis. They were everything to him, and their loss left a deep scar. Now, he is going through the same suffering, and I am scared I might lose him too.

I sold my jewellery, borrowed money from friends and relatives, and used all our savings for his treatment.
I have tried everything I can to save him. But his condition keeps getting worse. The doctors have said that only a liver transplant can save his life. The cost of the transplant is very high, and I don’t have any way to arrange it on my own. Every night, I pray that somehow I find the help to bring him back home healthy.

We have two sons one is in 12th standard and the other in 6th standard. They both had to drop out of school because we can’t afford their fees anymore.
Our elder son stays with me in the hospital most of the time. He helps me collect medicines and run small errands, even though he should be studying. Both of them love their father deeply. They keep telling me, “Maa, we just want Papa to live.” Hearing that makes me cry.

When the doctors said I couldn’t donate my liver because of my health, Chandan’s younger sister immediately came forward.
She is so young and had big dreams of starting her own beauty parlour. But she didn’t think twice before saying, “I will give my liver to save my brother.” People tell her she is risking her own future, but she says she doesn’t care. Her love and courage give me strength every day.

The doctors have warned us that the transplant must happen very soon, or we might lose him.
Time is running out, and I feel helpless. I can’t imagine a life without him he has always been our support, our strength. I’m doing everything I can as a wife and mother, but I need your help now.

Kindly, help me save my husband’s life. Even a small contribution can make a big difference. Your kindness can bring hope back to our family and help my children get their father back.
