Despite Winning Against Heart Disease This Baby Is Still Battling For His Life In The ICU

“Suddenly I saw him gasping for breath, it was as if he was…I thought I was going to lose my child. I was so scared... I took him to the hospital immediately”- Chandra

Just after 3 months of his birth, this baby was diagnosed with a heart disease and was very critical. Without any delay, a surgery was done to save the baby but it was not the end of his battle.

The scar says it all

Instead of seeing and observing the world around him, this baby had to undergo a painful surgery just at the age of 3 months. Like scars of battle, he has one on his chest,5 inches long.

His eyes are swollen, he cries all the time. I am not able to see him like this. I just want to hold him and say everything is going to be okay but...is it going to be okay, I don’t know, I really don’t."- Subhadra

Each day I think the battle will end but...

Though the operation was successful, his body was not immune to fight infections and thus resulted in pneumonia. To recover completely, he needs to stay in the ICU on ventilator for a few days more but they are not able to afford it.

“We thought it was over, but we couldn’t take him home. They put him on this ventilator and it’s like he has been there forever. Each day I think today it will end but I see him suffer. He is so small and weak, I just want everything to get better.”- Subhadra

10 lakhs...where will I bring it from

“I am unable to meet the cost of his treatment, I have begged and borrowed from everyone I know but I can’t anymore and I don’t want to lose my child.”- Chandra
Chandra works as a supervisor in a factory and his monthly income is barely sufficient for survival of their family of 5. They are unable to meet the treatment expenses.

Though the baby has a good chance of survival, he might lose his life without the ventilator support. With your kind help, this child can survive. Chandra and Subhadra need your help to save their little child.
