A few months later, she got pregnant again and much to her joy she was carrying twins.
“I was already told that there would be a lot of complications in my pregnancy as I was carrying twins. I was very careful throughout my pregnancy and never missed any doctor's appointments. But a growth scan during the 7 months of my pregnancy showed my babies' lives were at risk. Without another thought, I delivered my babies immediately. Our baby boy was fine but our baby girl was so weak and fragile that they had to admit her in the ICU right after her birth.” - Mahalakshmi, motherMahalakshmi’s daughter was born prematurely barely weighing 1kg.
