It was a mere six days ago when Dharmendra and Preethi took their son, Aarav, to the hospital because he was feeling feverish. The next day, little Aarav was diagnosed with acute renal failure – a life threatening, rapid-onset, kidney disease.
At just 5 years old, his kidneys have stopped working.
While the doctors immediately put him on dialysis, Dharmendra scrambled to put together the money needed to keep his son in the hospital. He is calling everyone he knows, he is begging everyone he meets - he is desperate to save his son.
“I am just a daily wager, and my wife doesn’t have a job. They told us he needs 5 more lakhs for his treatment. We’ve already borrowed as much money as we can. We don’t know what to do now.”
"He used to be so playful, so naughty. Now he can barely move with the machines attached to him. I can't see him like this.Over the past few days, little Aarav's condition has worsened. Fluid has built up in his lungs, due to which he can no longer breathe on his own either. He is now on a respirator, in addition to the dialysis machine.
While he cannot afford to be taken off of those machines, his parents cannot afford to keep him on it any longer. His condition is worsening with every passing minute. The parents need the help immediately, you are their last hope.
