Samuel is a 12-year-old student from a low-income background. His love for talking English motivates him to go to school. He hopes to be a pastor someday and help people become better
humans.
The last 1.5 years of the pandemic have been very difficult for Samuel and his family. His father has lost his job as a driver. His mother has started working as house help to support the family.
But is money the only problem for children like Samuel?
Do children like Samuel have a laptop or smartphone or internet connectivity?
Do children like Samuel have enough school supplies in these difficult times?
Do children like Samuel even have a small space in their home that they can call a study table?
If not, then how will Samuel SFH (#StudyFromHome)?
“Padhenge Toh Badhenge” is a campaign by The Bodhi Tree, MARSS K Organization for Social Development, and Smileys Trust to bring together various stakeholders under one umbrella to equip
at least 10,000 children like Samuel #studyfromhome during these testing times.
As a first step, we are donating Deskit bags to 10,000 children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
