FAQs

This initiative is by Olympic Gold Quest in partnership with Genpact and Milaap to raise funds and provide training and purchase of equipment for Indian athletes who are qualified to participate in Rio Olympics 2016.

Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ), founded in 2001, is a non-profit organisation committed to bridge the gap between the best athletes in India and the world thus helping Indian athletes win Olympic Gold medals. Founded by Indian sporting legends Geet Sethi and Prakash Padukone, OGQ scouts for potential medal talent, help identify areas of support and work with all stakeholders to aid deserving talent. Genpact has partnered with OGQ to provide financial support to avail training and purchase equipments for the Olympic qualified Indian athletes.

Genpact is a global leader in digitally-powered business process management and services. This endeavor is part of Genpact’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, and aims to support and facilitate the efforts of the athletes in the largest global sporting arena, the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Genpact hopes that this effort will provide the much-needed stimulus that women athletes truly deserve and lead to significant achievement in Rio Olympics 2016.
Your money will directly help athletes supported by OGQ for their training and facilities abroad in the run-up to Olympics. OGQ will use the funds based on the different training needs of the qualified athletes. Genpact will match each contribution made by the donors, thereby creating double the impact. Milaap will closely work with the OGQ to ensure that the funds you have donated are used in the best possible manner and share regular updates.
Not at all. On the contrary, Genpact will match every donation you made upto a total sum of Rs. 50 lakhs. We hope to create double the impact and enable OGQ to support the Olympic qualified athletes in the best possible manner.
