Dear Sir/ Madam
Greetings from XIBA.
Xavier Institute of Business Administration (XIBA) is a Jesuit business school, approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Manonmanium Sunderanar University, Tirunelveli. It is part of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Palayamkottai.
XIBA was started eight years ago to make available a quality B-School in the Southern part of Tamil Nadu and to cater to the interest of the students from this area who could not afford to go to big cities, to meet their educational aspirations.
As the students who join XIBA are poor and first-generation learners from the marginalized communities, the institute has kept the fees low, so that those who cannot afford high fees could benefit from XIBA. The institute would like to improve the infrastructure and provide the students more facilities. We have financial constraints and are not able to improve the infrastructure we would like to provide, though we have a group of committed faculty who give relevant and updated training to the students.

Some of our Key needs are
- A place where students could sit and have group discussions and study (Kiosk). The same place could be used to have food, as well.
- Buy good quality Management Books and extend the existing Library of XIBA. Subscribe to useful periodicals, magazines for MBA students.
- Establish scholarship programs to support meritorious students from weaker sections of the society.
- Install solar panels to help reduce electricity expenses of the institution. The savings could be used to enhance infrastructure and support services for students’ welfare.
With warm regards,
Fr. V. Joseph Xavier sj
