Support Us to Combat Wildlife Crime

Wings for Wild is a Wildlife and Ecological Conservation Trust which is working in Northern Part of India. Our main aim is to prevent wildlife crime and conflict in the vicinity of Indo-Nepal border. “Our ecosystem acts as a shield for biotic and abiotic components which is linked together by nutrient cycles , energy flows and helps every being on earth for survival. To conserve local flora and fauna is our foremost duty to ensure local ecosystem in check,” says Ravi Rajvanshi, Conservation Officer.

Northern India is a biodiversity hub of many species like tigers, leopards, swamp deer, elephants, bengal floricon, fishing cat, etc. Some of them are on edge of extinction due to loss of habitat and poaching. In the greed of some bucks, people from nearby villages smuggle their body parts to the Nepal and China. Time to time counselling of local people is also necessary so that they can't divert to poaching and other illegal activities. We have centralized intelligence team of around 150 people who are in touch with us 24/7. Whenever we get news about any activity, our team response back in instance of time and get in touch with UP Forest Department for administrative support.

We not only combat wildlife crime, but also provide financial assistance and counselling to the villagers whose crops and livestock are affected in the wildlife conflict so they can run their livelihood again. “We create a relationship with them as their family member. Once we build the rapport with them, we start counselling and convincing them to save wildlife specially endangered species,”. Ravi Rajvanshi says and adds, “We are proud to say that since July 2017, we have convinced many villagers to join us in saving wildlife.”

Wings for Wild need your help to deal better with wildlife crime and conflict in northern India. Funds are required for the following expenses:
- Rescue and combat operations
- Financial support to the villagers who lost their livelihood
- Emergency medical support to the rescued animal.
- Awareness Programs

Your support will ensure Wings for Wild can continue to run their operations smoothly.

Dear Supporters,

They just started to adapt with the new human environment and the good news is that no casualties had occurred by their (Bengal Tiger) side; Officials confirmed. Our well-managed awareness camps and events helped people effectively. Till date, we found that only awareness events can stop the conflict between human and wildlife. So, we just finished with walks, meetings, sports events, etc in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Thank you for the support. Keep Supporting.

Dear Supporters,

We are very thankful for your contribution and that is really supporting our cause "Help Us in Reducing Human-Tiger Conflict".  We are doing awareness events helping people like farmers. These people should have to learn the tactics avoiding wildlife conflict. We are also upgrading gears that will be helpful in monitoring and tracking. Any further information will be updated soon. Please signup here for updates and become part of our organisation. Once again, Thank YOU.
